A teak and caning armchair titled The Round designed by Hans Jørgensen Wegner. This chair features a Mid Century Modern design with clean delineations.

Hans Jørgensen Wegner, born in 1914 in southern Denmark, was a world-renowned Danish furniture designer. Wegner worked as a child apprentice to master cabinetmaker where he developed an affinity towards wood as a medium. After serving in the military, studying at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts, and studying at the Architectural Academy, Wegner ended up working for Arne Jacobsen for several years before opening his own studio. Over the years, Wegner was awarded many honours for his handiwork and is still featured today at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Die Neue Sammlung in Munich.
