A contemporary Japanese Imari style plate with a scalloped rim and white ground accented with a stylized hand painted scene of a tree in a blue, green and red palette. Flying above the tree are red, blue and green accented cranes. The back of the plate appears to read ‘Ryō Kiln’ (涼窯).
