An open edition offset print on cream Speckletone paper designed by well-listed and world-renowned American street artist Shepard Fairey (South Carolina/California; born 1970), titled Defend Dignity from the artist’s We the People series. The series was commissioned by Aaron Huey and the Amplifier Foundation. This piece as a posterized depiction of a young woman based on an original photograph by contemporary American photographer Arlene Mejorado. The piece’s title and series title are printed to the lower edge, and Fairey’s iconic “Obey” logo is printed to the upper left. The piece is unsigned and is presented without matting or framing.
