Item Details
A hand-knotted Pakistani Mori Bokhara wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, ivory, black, and cornsilk. The crimson colored field features a lattice of elephant’s foot guls and chemche guls throughout, while framed in a main hooked medallion patterned border. There are guard borders in a diamond, and chamtos pattern, along with Tekke motifs to elem panels at each end. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton kilim skirt with cotton warp fringe to the ends. There is a label to the underside ‘Made in Pakistan’.
