Vintage Chinese Clash Cymbals
Item Details
A pair of early twentieth-century Chinese clash cymbals. They feature a copper alloy construction with round shape and single hole to the middle for a cord. One includes a white fabric cord. These clash cymbals can be held by the percussionist via the bell and cord and can be released to produce greater sustain. These pieces are from the collection of Dr. Ben and Dr. Alice Baker, Chinese missionaries from 1910-1930s.
