A contemporary mixed media painting on cloth and board created by listed Texas artist Jacques Lamy (French/American, 1946 – 2016). The piece uses a combination of plaster, multicolored woven patterned cloth and gouache paint to depict a shrub with multicolored leaves growing from a plaid planter, and centered over a mottled, textured background. The work is signed by hand to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a bamboo-motif wooden frame with gold tone finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- minor discoloration and wear to composition; fraying and wear to cloth; minor marks and wear to frame; stains to lower edge of frame’s backing paper.
