1811 Solomon Hougham English Sterling Silver Goblet
Item Details
An 1811 sterling silver goblet by Solomon Hougham (1746-1818) of London, England. The goblet features a circular body with a band of die-cast grape and vine decoration, repoussé foliate detailing to the base of the bowl and a round pedestal foot with a band of egg and dart decoration to the base. The goblet is hallmarked to the edge of the foot 1811 London, England and stamped with the marker’s mark for Solomon Houghman. The approximate weight is 9.945 ozt.
