A hand-knotted Persian-style ‘Mughal/Ahad’ area rug. This wool blend rug offers an all-over floral pattern worked in cream, sand, cinnamon and ivory over a black background. It features large shah abbasi , lancet leaves and floral vines with a floral meander borders framing the field. The main border is grounded in camel with large flower head repeats. Selvedges are triple overcast, the rug finishing with ivory warp fringe at either end. It is labeled with a tag to the verso from ‘artweavers’.
