A Westmoreland ‘Cat on a Nest’ covered dish and more. This Westmoreland milk glass piece features a molded cat, sitting atop a pillow, within a lattice framework basket. The cat has blue eyes that stand out against its white features. The underside of the dish is stamped ‘W’ for Westmoreland glass. Included is a footed and embossed grape paneled covered candy dish featuring beading going around the sides of the dish. The candy dish rests on an embossed grape foot and does not appear to be marked to the underside. A shorter embossed grape paneled covered candy dish is included, the dish features rounded beading and a matching lid with a finial, the dish rests on a short foot and does not appear to be labeled. A square shaped ash receiver is included, with embossed grape motifs to the exterior, the inside of the receiver is plain, it also appears to be unmarked.
