1946 Rookwood Pottery Bowl

Item Details

A vintage Rookwood Pottery bowl. This shaped form shows a petal-like scalloped rim and is finished with a robin’s egg blue matte glaze. The maker’s mark to the underside is obscured by glaze, but the pattern number, ‘6349’ identifies and dates the bowl to 1946. It is marked with aa grease pencil ‘X’, identifying it as a second.

Condition

- some small dark surface marks; glaze imperfections; large hand written “X” to underside.
