Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Senneh area rug . This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of red, grey, teal, coral, cream, black, orange, beige, golden yellow, and burgundy. It has a large stepped rhomboid shaped medallion and an all over pattern of amulet motifs, birds, other animals, and hooked diamonds. It is framed by carnation meander guard borders and a samovar pattern main border.Finished with overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe to either end. Leather strips attached to the verso.
