A hand-knotted Chinese area rug and a power-loomed Turkish accent rug. The hand-knotted wool Chinese rug is oval and rendered in a palette of crimson, ivory, sage, apricot, and sand. The crimson colored field features a central floral medallion, enclosed by a wreath of curled leaves. Framing the field is a notched floral patterned main border grounded in ivory. Finishing this rug is a cotton fringe to the edge, and it is unlabeled. The power-loomed Turkish rug is titled Saray by Wilton System, it is rendered in a palette of crimson, wheat, sapphire, olive, and ivory. The crimson colored field features an all-over lattice of flowers and medallions, while framed in a stylized herati main border grounded in sapphire. Finishing this rug are serged edges and an applied fringe to the ends. There is a label to the underside ‘Made in Turkey’.
