Antique Biedermeier Walnut Secretary
Item Details
An antique Biedermeier walnut secretary; mid to late 19th century. It has a beveled cornice over a simple case body with angled front edges and bookmatched veneers. The drop front secretary has one drawer above and three below, each with a black, shield shaped escutcheon. The secretary front opens to a shelf, small nook, and burl veneer front small drawers with center brass knobs; the framing and work surface are black. It stands on small black, turned feet.
