Item Details
A hand-knotted Sino-Persian wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of rose, ivory, powder blue, cranberry, indigo, sage, and silver. The rose colored field begins with two lobed pendant medallions in a floral theme, along with coordinating spandrels infilled with a palmette, leaves, and flowers. The field also features small bouquets, while framed in an ivory grounded herati main border. There is also a floral meander, and a diagonal stripe guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges, and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
