Antique Cast Iron German Safe

Item Details

An antique cast iron safe. The safe has a red and yellow painted finish. The lid has a raised lock with a hinged cover plate, marked ‘Fabrik v. J.H. Blecher Hamburg’. The safe has very thick walls, with heavy metal handles on the sides, two strap style clasps on the front, and it rests on short feet.

Condition

- surface scratches, chips, dings, scuffs, marks, wear throughout; no key for lock
