Vintage Arts and Crafts Style Student Desk and Chair
Item Details
A vintage Arts and Crafts style student desk and chair. The solid wood desk has a mahogany finish, a rectangular top with brackets on the back and sides, a hinged, serpentine tambour paneled front in the style of a roll top desk. The front panel swings up and back to reveal a writing surface, and three divided compartments at the back. The desk rests on square, straight legs with an H stretcher, and it has square spindles on the sides. Included with the desk is a small, vintage hardwood chair, with a horizontal top rail and spindle back, flat wood seat and straight square legs with an H stretcher. The underside of the desk is marked ‘W’.
