A hand-colored lithograph on paper titled Juene Fille de Grand-Ergué (Young Girl of Grand Ergué) after and illustration by French artist Prosper Saint-Germain (1804-1875) with lithograph by V. Coindre. It depicts a woman seated and wearing a peaked bonnet. It is titled to the lower center and has the artist and publisher’s names to the lower edge. The piece is presented behind an oval-windowed mat with a hand-drawn border and a blue mat with glass in a wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- accretion to glass; light wear to frame finish; minor crack to surface to the lower left; discoloration to print and mat.
