Vintage Character Jugs Including "Bill Sykes" by Cooper Clayton Staffordshire

A collection of character jugs. Included is a figural mug depicting a man in a gray hat from Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. This Bill Sykes jug is marked ‘Cooper Clayton, Stafforshire’ and dates to the 1940s. Also included is a figural jug depicting a man in a red hat with a black neckerchief. It is marked to the underside ‘Made in Occupied Japan’.
