An antique porcelain pitcher featuring a portrait of Napoleon. The pitcher has a covered spout, a scroll handle and an oblate body. The pitcher presents hand-embellished floral and sunburst accents to the colorful design with gilt scrolls throughout the bright green and cobalt blue ground. There is a printed portrait of Napoleon after Hippolyte Delaroche’s painting to the center of one cartouche. There is no visible maker’s mark.
