A contemporary mixed media painting on cloth and board created by listed Texas artist Jacques Lamy (French/American, 1946 – 2016). The still life piece uses a combination of woven patterned cloth, plaster, textured board and gouache paint to depict a cluster of bamboo-like greenery with long yellow stems and delicate green leaves. The work is signed by hand to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes a label with artist information.

- faint wear and discoloration to composition; minor nicks and wear to frame.
