A contemporary mixed media painting on cloth and board created by listed Texas artist Jacques Lamy (French/American, 1946 – 2016). The abstract piece uses a combination of woven patterned cloth, plaster, textured board, burlap and gouache paint to depict a brown feather centered over a variegated pale blue and cream background. The work is signed by hand to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- some loose threads; craquelure and wear to composition; minor nicks and wear to frame.
