A contemporary mixed media painting on cloth and board created by listed Texas artist Jacques Lamy (French/American, 1946 – 2016). The abstract piece uses a combination of plaster, textured board, burlap and gouache paint to depict a slim evergreen tree centered over a mottled cream, blue and brown background. The work is signed by hand to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a moulded wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes a label with artist information.

- to fair; surface wear, loose threads, discoloration and craquelure to composition; minor nicks and edge wear to frame; small tears to frame backing.
