An oil painting on academy board of ships near the coast. This circa 1920’s painting depicts a solitary female figure in a bright red skirt standing on a small peninsula as a nearby fishing boat casts its nets. The unsigned work is presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

Condition

- warping to board; surface wear to painting; would benefit from cleaning; surface wear to edges and corners of frame. chips and missing pieces throughout frame.
