A vintage wood library bench with a built-in folding ladder. The wood bench has a padded top upholstered in hand-stitched needlepoint featuring Asian geometric patterns in a palette of cream, navy blue and red. The bench has a hinged seat that lifts up to reveal a four-step library ladder. The bench has straight, square legs with an H stretcher. No maker’s mark.
