An oil painting on canvas of a couple next to a fountain attributed to Pennsylvania artist Ralph Pallen Coleman (1892 – 1968). This unsigned piece depicts a young woman in white and a young man in a tuxedo standing behind a small fountain in a festive atmosphere. The painting is presented in a stained wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes, a decal from the Curtis Publishing Company, and a gallery decal are all present to the verso.

Condition

- craquelure pervasive throughout the image area; scuffing around the outside edges creating image loss; nicks and scratches around the frame.
