A mid-century oil painting on board by listed artist Walter Leighton Clark (American, 1859-1935). The Impressionist-inspired piece depicts an autumn landscape scene, with multicolored foliage and green fields lining a waterfront under a covering of partially-overcast blue skies. The work is signed ‘Walter Clark’ to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with cream liner and gold tone fillet, fitted with sawtooth hangers to the verso.
