A Mid Century Modern Style Selangor Pewter ashtray. Featured is a round ashtray with a thick flat wall to the outside, rectangular cut pewter pieces with curved hollows to hold the cigarettes attached atop the wall on each of the four sides, a machine drilled round bowl for the ashes, and a teak style wooden base. The underside of the piece is stamped with a maker’s mark which reads ‘Selangor Pewter Malaysia Singapore’.
