Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan area rug. This carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of red, sage green, grey, white, black, and pale yellow. The field is patterned with a central scalloped medallion and an all over pattern of lancet leaves and angular flowers. It is framed with ’S’hook and geometric meander pattern borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
