Four Antique Victorian Style Dining Chairs
Item Details
A group of four antique Victorian style carved mahogany dining chairs. The group includes one larger chair made of oak with a stained finish, featuring a heavily carved crest rail depicting a Green Man or North Wind face, with carved swirl designs to either side. It has carved barley twist side supports with acorn-like finials, a padded and upholstered back and seat, and carved twist legs with carved lion paw feet and wood casters. There are three different, smaller, matching Eastlake style chairs that have carved crest rails and center splats, with turned and fluted legs, and turned H stretchers. All four of the chairs are upholstered in an orange woven fabric with dot patterns. No maker’s marks.
