Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Karaja area rug. The rug is rendered in a color palette of red, mustard yellow, white, forest green, pink, burgundy, slate blue, peach, indigo, and black. The field is patterned with three alternating cruciform and hooked hexagonal medallions, as well as angular flowers and boteh motifs. It is framed with borders of dotted lines and cruciform floral meanders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
