Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Malayer wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of watermelon, ivory, indigo, rose, mocha, wine, mahogany, teal, and wheat. The watermelon hued field begins with a diamond pendant medallion, and it features an all-over herati pattern, along with indigo grounded spandrels. Framing the field is an ivory grounded main border in a samovar pattern, along with S-shaped guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
