Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a faint abrash palette of indigo, crimson, ochre, cranberry, ivory, sapphire, apricot, clementine, and mocha. The indigo hued field features an array of palmettes branched with leaves and rosettes. Framing the field is a unique floral meander main border, along with a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to one end, while the other is bound. This rug is unlabeled.
