Item Details
A hand-knotted Kurdish wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of cranberry, ivory, salmon, sapphire, emerald, wheat, saffron, mauve, rose, clementine, ice blue, and charcoal. The cranberry hued field features seven hooked medallions enclosed by partial medallions forming an infinity pattern, along with animal, floral, and geometrically shaped filler motifs. Framing the field is a main trefoil flower and triangle meander border, along with a laleh abbasi guard border, and a sawtooth guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
