Antique Earthenware Wash Basin and Water Pitcher
Item Details
An antique earthenware wash basin and matching water pitcher. The pieces feature hand-embellished purple floral sprays to the white ground, gilding to the molded scroll designs, and brushed gilding to the rims. There is no visible maker’s mark which is typical of wares produced between 1880-1910.
Condition
- discoloration and staining to interior of pitcher; wear to gilding; marks to undersides.
