A hand-knotted Persian Kerman area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of cranberry red, sky blue, ecru, beige, goldenrod, violet-blue, pink, and green. It features a floriate diamond shaped medallion on a solid cranberry colored field. It has an ornate border made up of scrollwork vines, palmettes, and flowers. It has overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
