A restrike etching pulled from the original plate by American engraver James Smillie after an original painting by American painter Daniel Huntington (1816 – 1906) titled Portrait of Asher B. Durand. This piece depicts a portrait of American artist Asher B. Durand (1796 – 1886) sitting at his easel plein air painting. This piece is signed to the lower left and lower right corners of the margin. It is presented in an ornate gold tone wooden frame, under glass, and with a mat. It is hung with a wire hanger to the verso.
