Photogravure Print after Sir Robert Fildes "The Doctor"
Item Details
A photogavure print on paper after an original painting titled The Doctor by listed British artist Sir Like Fildes (1843 – 1927). The print depicts a doctor visiting a young patient at her home, as her father looks on. This print is unsigned. It is presented behind and ivory mat, under glass, in a silver tone wood frame with a green velvet face and a gold tone liner. A hanging wire is present to the verso.
Condition
- water damage to lower edge of mat. Minor wear to frame and velvet liner.
