Etching print of Thoroughbred racing champion Gallant Fox by R.H. Palenske. Gallant Fox caused quite a stir, winning 11 of his 17 races during 1929-1930. In 1957, he was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. Print has a profile of Gallant Fox’s head with smaller racing scene beneath, depicting him two lengths ahead of the pack.
Condition
Print is on paper and not matted or framed. Paper has stains and has not been properly stored. Creases to edge of paper.
