A pair of hand-colored etchings on paper titled Innsbruck and Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Rödertor by Austrian artist Josef Eidenberger (1899-1991). These pieces depict street scenes in the titular cities, featuring the Innsbruck City Tower visible over the buildings in the first and an arched clock tower in Rothenburg. Both are signed to the lower right, titled to the lower left and presented behind mats and glass in wood frames with wire to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- discoloration to paper; surface wear to edges and corners of frame; tears to paper backing of one.
Dimensions
- both frames measure approximately the same size; larger etching of Innsbruck measures 10.0" W x 14.0" H.
