A stone inlay globe. This free standing globe features continents fashioned from pieces of abalone shell, serpentine, agate, dyed magnesite, sandstone, jasper and other stones set into a blue field with gold tone lines of longitude and latitude. The globe has a dual axis meridian mount incorporated into a brass stand with tripod cabriole legs with a non-functional compass set into the stand.
