Antique Federal Gaming Table with Inlay
Item Details
An antique Federal style game table. The wood table has an Adams style scrolled, hinged top with a leaf that can be opened to extend the playing surface, and the edges have string inlay. The bow front has an inlaid basket motif at the center and striped inlay along the bottom edge. When the tabletop is extended, it rests on a swing-out leg. The straight, square tapered legs have inlay, depicting floral filled urns at the tops, bordered with string inlay. No maker’s mark.
