Hand-Knotted Indian "Mumlak" Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Indian Mumlak accent rug. This wool pile rug begins with a floral medallion to the center field. It is densely populated with star forms and flower heads along with geometric repeats. This piece is rendered in earth tones including caramel and honey grounded in camel. Framing the rug are floral borders in the field colors. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with short warp fringe at either end. Tagged to the underside ‘Made in India, Mumlak’.
