Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of beige, olive green, burgundy, brown, cream, and fawn. The field is patterned with large stylized palmettes and floriate vines, arranged in a lattice. It is framed with floral meander and herati motif borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Marked to verso.
