Pair of Vintage Neoclassical Style Plant Stands
Item Details
A matching pair of vintage Neoclassical style plant stands. The stands have rounded, ribbed wood receptacles, which are tapered at the bottoms and accented with turned wood finials, and are fitted with removable brass liners. They rest on three square, saber legs, accented with brass lion heads at the tops, with brass ball chain swags between. Small, scalloped and inlaid triangular shelves are held between the legs underneath the receptacles. No maker’s mark.
Condition
- wood has surface marks, scuffs, dings, wear throughout; the brass liners have scratches, dings, discoloration, tarnish, wear throughout
