An East African ebony wood carving.This piece is carved from the core of an ebony wood branch and depicts a group of figures in the style of Makonde ‘family tree’ carving. The lighter, outer ring of wood and bark is still surrounding the base and on the rear of the piece.

Condition

- vertical cracks; unevenly seated; some wear to surface.
