Chinese Yixing Clay Teapot and Cups
Item Details
A Chinese Yixing clay teapot with teacups and footed bowls. The teapot is made from purple clay found in the Yixing region of china. It has a simple cylindrical form with applied bamboo leaf decoration and bamboo shaped handles and spouts. The set also includes four teacups and three saucers. Also included are four footed sauce bowls, ivory in color with gilded line decoration.
