A six-piece collection of late 18th and early 19th century sterling silver flatware by London silversmiths. This includes a set of three forks from 1803 by silversmith Richard Crossley, a spoon with engraved handle from 1784 with an illegible maker’s mark, a teaspoon from 1809 with an illegible maker’s mark, and a teaspoon with a personalized engraving from 1785 by silversmith Hester Bateman. Each is stamped to the back of the handle with a maker’s mark alongside three or four hallmarks. The total approximate weight is 5.625 ozt.
