A Chinese ink and watercolor painting on silk by an anonymous artist. The piece depicts four figures on horseback playing an early game of polo called Jiju (击鞠). The figures wear green, blue and yellow robes with brown hats and riding boots. The work is unsigned. It is presented under acrylic glazing in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

- toning and discoloration to silk; abrasions and scratches throughout, with some holes to silk; accretions under glass along lower left edges; abrasions to acrylic glass; scratches to frame at right.
