Hand-Knotted Turkish Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Turkish area rug. This wool rug features rose cameos across the field in a palette of red, black, green, azure, ivory and apricot. The surrounding green field has large frames of floral motifs in indigo. Framing the rug are reciprocal sawtooth and carnation meander borders grounded in red blue and ivory. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and a ivory warp fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
