A mid-century oil painting on board by Tilly. The still life piece depicts a floral arrangement of daisies and red poppies in a ceramic vase, surrounded by an assortment of grapes, apples and oranges. The work is signed to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a black and gold tone wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes a circa 1960s framer’s label from Wonderlin Galleries of Indianapolis.

Condition

- to fair; discoloration, scratches and marks to surface, especially to lower edge; paint loss, scuffs and stains to lower right; scratches, nicks and edge wear to frame; minor tears to frame backing.
